NOTE:-All prices listed are BASE(starting) prices. Pricing may increase depending on the amount of details and/or complexity.-Discounted prices for additional characters are only applied for characters within the same piece. Mini chibis do not receive this discount.

BACKGROUNDS :

  • Simple Backgrounds: Free

  • Medium Detailed Backgrouds:+$10-25 USD

  • Highly Deatailed Backgrounds: +$25-100 USD

  • Type of background will be discussed when ordering the commission.

ADD-ONS :

  • Multiple expressions are +$5 USD per expression.

  • Alternate version have a base price of +$10-20 depending on the commission type.

  • Discounted prices for additional characters are only applied for characters within the same piece. Mini chibis do not receive this discount.

Commission Terms of Service

Please read these Terms of Service (“Terms”) carefully before purchasing from Kiromei Art (“Kiromei”). This artist Kiromei is also referred to in these Terms as “I”, “me”, “my”, "mine", and “artist”. Customer(s) will also be referred to as “you”, “your(s)”, “their”, “they”, “client(s)”, and “commissioner(s)”. If you have any questions, please contact me via any of my social media (DeviantART, Discord, X/Twitter, or Tumblr) or via my email if provided. By purchasing from me, you are automatically agreeing to these Terms of Services and will be held accountable for having thoroughly read the following terms.

ARTIST:I retain all copyrights over my work, which include, but are not limited to the right to reproduce, redistribute, and/or use as a sample for sales or self-promotion unless otherwise agreed upon.

  • If you do not desire for your commissioned art to be worked on publicly and/or posted publicly, please let me know in advance when sending your commission order.

  • While I retain the copyright for the art that I create, I will not retain the Intellectual Property for any project or design that is provided to me by the commissioner, and will not claim the Intellectual Property or reuse/resell the project or design for personal or commercial use unless agreed upon by the owner of the Intellectual Property.

  • I reserve the right to decline commissions from any client without providing a reason or explanation.

  • I reserve the right to use any rejected sketches for any of my future work unless the design of the commissioned work was not produced by me.

  • I will not produce any of the following material unless I specify otherwise. If you are unsure about exceptions to anything listed below, please discuss it with me before or when ordering your commission:

  • R+18 (NSFW/Not Safe for Work - Includes sexually explicit or sexually suggestive, extremely violent, foul, or offensive works.) (Nudity is acceptable unless it is sexual in nature.)

  • Fetishes

  • Political Art

  • Ferals and other creatures

  • Mechs

  • Complex Armor

  • Anything else that I may find difficult or offensive to draw.

COMMISSIONER:You may upload the work done for you to your site. There's no need to credit me, but you may not claim my artwork as your own under any circumstances. Once you receive your commissioned art, you may use it as you please for any personal use only, unless you specifically commissioned the art for commercial purposes (see other exceptions listed in this section). Commissioned art includes any art provided by me, whether it has been paid for by the client or has been provided to the client free of charge by the artist.

  • The original creator of the design retains the Intellectual Property of said design.

  • You may not claim any work that is created by me as your own or anyone else's but mine.

  • You may not use any of my work for NTFs (Non-Fungible Tokens).

  • You may not use any of my work for AI generator prompts or illustrations.

  • The commissioned art is not to be redistributed or used for any external projects unless permission is granted by me.

  • If you wish to use any of my art for commercial purposes but did not originally commission me for commercial use, I must be notified first, and you will be issued an additional commercial use fee. After the fee is paid, you may proceed to use the commissioned art for any commercial use that I have agreed to. Please see the "Commercial Use Commissions" section below for additional information.

PAYMENT:You must be 18 years or older to purchase a commission from me. Anyone below the age of 18 must obtain permission from a parent or legal guardian and have your parent or legal guardian contact me using their own social media account or using their own personal email.

  • All payments will be issued in United States Dollars(USD) through PayPal.

  • All PayPal payments will be conducted via the invoice method. All invoices will be sent by me. If I have not issued you an invoice and you send payment to me, it will be refunded as soon as possible and an invoice will be issued to you instead.

  • All commissions totaling 150 USD and below must be paid in full before the commission is started.

  • At least half payment for all commissions totaling above 150 USD must be accepted before the commission is started.

  • You will not receive the initial sketch until I have received at least half of the total payment. You will not receive the completed art until after I have received the full payment.

  • Refunds are available if a client has already paid, but is unhappy with the initial sketches and decides not to proceed with the commission before I enter the lining phase. When I enter the lining phase, refunds will not be made available for commissioners who have paid half of the total price. Refunds for half of the payment will be available for commissioners who have already paid the full price while their commissioned art is in the lining phase. No refunds will be available for commissioners after I have entered the coloring phase, and your piece will be completed and sent to you once I have received full payment.

  • No work will be sent to the commissioner once a refund is initiated.

  • If I am unable to complete your commission at all for whatever personal reason that I, the artist, may have, you will receive a full refund regardless of the statements above.

  • If I have not completed your commission six months after the initial window of completion I have provided for you, you may ask for a refund, and a full refund will be sent to you.

  • Unauthorized chargebacks will result in the commissioner being permanently banned from purchasing commissions from me, and the commissioner will be added to my public and/or private blacklist indefinitely.

COMMERCIAL USE COMMISSIONS:There are two price tiers for commercial use commissions (USD ONLY):

  • Tier 1 - 200% of the original price

  • This includes things such as business artwork (including business website banners, character stills, and emotes), promotional artwork, game assets, book covers, business cards, CD covers, character logos, etc.

  • Tier 2 - 300% of the original price

  • This includes anything where the artwork is the bulk or main focus of the product such as postcards, pins, merchandise (t-shirts, hoodies, bags, etc.), and anything related.

  • Requires full payment before any work is started

  • Credit is still required for usage of the artwork, even if altered or edited unless it has been discussed beforehand.

PROCEDURE/PROCESS:Unless you commissioned a custom character design from me, I will only accept characters with an established visual design and/or with visual references (e.g. images of clothing, shoes, hair, etc.) I will not accept description only characters, and I will not design a character for you in its entirety unless you have specifically purchased a character design commission from me.

  • Your commission will not be started until I recieve at least half payment as per my terms in the "Payment" section listed above.

  • You may ask for a work in progress (WIP) at any point while I am working on your commission and a watermarked image will be provided to you.

  • A progress list may or may not also be available for viewing via a progress tracker.

  • Upon Completion:

  • Once the art is finished and I have received full payment, a full-sized (and a smaller-sized if requested) watermarked or signed image will be sent to you through the method by which the order form was sent to or through social media message.

  • Unwatermarked or unsigned images can be sent upon request.

  • Small changes such as color corrections, adding small details, or fixing mistakes can be done without additional charge.

  • Large changes such as pose changes, background changes, and clothing changes require an additional fee depending on the change.
